Thanks to the dry climate, Val Venosta has an outstanding high number of sunny days. Hence, motorbiking is usually possible form March to November. The pass roads through forests and meadows continuously open impressive views of the surrounding mountains with their high peaks. Numerous alpine huts along the routes await you with traditional food from Val Venosta and South Tyrol.
BAMBOO tour proposals
Stelvio Pass, Umbrail, Resia Pass Tour
From Coldrano near Laces follow the Val Venosta road to Prato, continue to Stelvio Pass and on to Switzerland and the Umbrail Pass. On the Umbrail Pass road to Müstair (visit the Benedictine Convent in St. Johann – a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site). The road leads back to South Tyrol/Italy. You get back to Glorenza via the Münstertal Valley. After a stop at Resia Lake and Resia Pass, drive back to the BAMBOO Activ Resort.
Gavia Pass, Tonale Pass, Val d'Ultimo
From Coldrano near Laces follow the Val Venosta road to Prato, continue to Stelvio Pass and on to Bormio. From here drive over Gavia Pass and on to Tonale Pass. Via Val di Non and Val d’Ultimo you’ll get to Lana near Merano. Take the main road back to the BAMBOO Activ Resort.
Gampen and Mendola Pass with a tour of Montezoccolo
From Coldrano to Laces near Merano, on to Avelengo, continue to Verano, Meltina and San Genesio Atesino. Via Bolzano you’ll get to Appiano where you turn off to Passo della Mendola. Continue to Gampen Pass. Drive back to the BAMBOO Activ Resort via Lana and Merano.
Val Passiria, Passo Giovo and Passo Pennes
From Coldrano to Laces near Merano and to Val Passiria. If you cross the Giovo Pass road, you’ll get to Vipiteno. From here via Passo Pennes and Val Sarentino to Bolzano. Take the main road or the road Meltina-Verano-Avelengo-Merano back to the BAMBOO Activ Resort.
